She holds an MFA in Graphic Design from MICA, an MFA in Information Design specializing in graphic art from Ewha Womans University in Seoul, and a BS in Computer Science from Chungbuk National University. She was a freelance graphic artist for The New York Times magazine. In addition to her artistic endeavors, Ahn serves on the College Art Association's Annual Conference Committee and reviews several research papers, including those published in Leonardo (MIT Press) and the College Art Association’s annual conference.
